Theodore roosevelt ran for president for a third term in 1912. he ran under the progressive party running against his old party, splitting the votes between the two. In the end Woodrow Wilson won the election by a landslide who was under the democratic party. Shunned by the american people he wanted to go do something that made him feel important again. He went to south america to explore. The minister of Brazil told Teddy about the uncharted river: the River of Doubt this journey was very dangerous and Roosevelt almost died on this trip. he was determined to stay alive for his son who was with him on his trip. in the end teddy and his son both survived the adventure and the whole river was charted

milan high student facebook threat

a student at milan high post that he wants the school to blow up, then later he says that he himself will bomb the school. i do not think that this post should be takin seriously, but obviously you can not ignore this threat. i think that he should be punished but not as severely as he was. i think a suspension from school would be a sufficiant punishment. this student was punished with two felonies which is rediculous if you ask me here is a related story http://www.thesmokinggun.com/documents/internet/teens-arrested-facebook-death-threats
